Housing Information

Since 1991 the Panhellenic Community has worked closely with residence life to provide sorority members the opportunity to have a space on Truman’s campus to live together, grow together, and foster a healthy and vibrant living community.

Sorority members on Truman's campus currently reside in the Brewer wing of Blanton-Nason-Brewer Hall. None of Truman’s sororities have chapter houses, so in an effort to promote sisterhood, we choose alternative forms of housing. Affiliated women can live in Brewer together or also have the option to live together in other dorms or off-campus houses.

Brewer is the only dorm on campus reserved for sorority members. Each sorority is allotted a certain number of rooms in a section of the building. Each sorority also has a chapter room is also located in Blanton-Nason-Brewer Hall, which provides a common space for each sorority. Here members can gather with other members to study, have movie nights, and spend quality time together. Many sisters opt to live there at least one semester.
